Distance between hooks: about the length of the hammock (3.5–4.5 m).
Hook height: 1.6–1.8 m from the floor.
Hang with a gentle curve, about 30°, so the lowest point sits about 45 cm off the ground with someone in it. If your hooks are closer together, mount them higher.

Note: Use hooks rated for at least 150 kg anchored into solid posts, beams or masonry.
